Why?
Following the boom in pixel advertising we attempted to develop a pixel advertising website that was different to existing sites. As a result we came up with a pixel advert site where each country is up for sale as a pixel block instead of squares on a grid.
What is it about?
Each country on the globe is up for sale at varying costs depending on a number of factors, such as area, desirability
and screen location. Anyone can buy a country, and within that country's boundaries they can insert an advertising
image which will be a link to their own individual profile page on the website / or just a link directly to their site
if desired. Basically by buying a country you are buying a block of pixels shaped like the chosen country.
What is different about this site?
Instead of buying pixels on a grid you are buying pixels on the globe. It has individual country web pages that will contain an advertising
profile, which describes the advertiser's website/business. It gives people the chance to have their website/business
represent their country on a website that will be viewed by thousands. The different pages, 'View by Continents' and the individual
country pages, enable smaller pixel areas (i.e. smaller countries) to get more exposure, as the adverts are enlarged and can
be viewed easily by site visitors. This is a major difference between this site and other pixel advertising websites.
Cost?
The prices for each country are scaled in relation to a number of factors including, area on screen (i.e. number of pixels), location on the screen, and desirability.
